FROM OUR "ACTS 2 DISTINCTIVES" SERIES~Join pastors Tim Brown (Calvary Chapel Fremont, CA) and Jeremy Foster (Calvary Chapel in the Ozarks, AR) as they share ideas about what the breaking of bread looked like in the early church, and why it’s important today in any church. Was breaking of bread a reference to communion only, or something else? Or was it a reference to the love-feast, a common meal? Or both? This well thought out discussion will be sure to stimulate thinking, and perhaps even breathe new life into the practice of communion, and/or begin the practice of common meals within any given fellowship of believers.

066~Constantly Diligent In The Ministry Of The Apostles' Doctrine
Tue, May 26, 2020

FROM OUR "ACTS 2 DISTINCTIVES" SERIES~The early church ... the best church ... specifically the apostolic church ... was characterized by their passion. They were intentionally committed to the six focuses of Acts chapter 2. Senior/lead pastors and churches will do well to focus on the same things today. One great priority for the N.T. church was its devotion and adherence to the apostles' doctrine. What was the apostles' doctrine? Where can we find it? How can we be similarly devoted today? Long-time pastors John Miller (Revival Christian Fellowship, Menifee, CA) and Sandy Adams (Calvary Chapel Stone Mountain, GA), both excellent expositors in their own pastoral ministries, will share from the Word and from their experience the powerful truth that a consistent ministry of the Bible is a necessary component of a spiritually healthy church. Pastors: be ready to improve your serve in this area of your ministry.

182~Leaders: How We Can Raise Them Up Ourselves
Sun, Jun 14, 2026

Many churches are experiencing a leadership deficit. There are too few biblical elders, too few deacons, and not as many people who know which spiritual gifts they’ve been given by the Spirit, what they are called to do, or what ministries the Lord has opened up for them. Many leadership teams are not in alignment with their pastor in doctrine and practice, nor are they in alignment with each other. There are many fellowships — normal sized (50-200 regular attenders) — that believe they do not possess the resources to begin strong leadership development and equipping and training of the saints. That's what this podcast is all about. It's going to help the equipping senior pastor do the work of equipping those whom the Lord is calling into leadership ministry positions. And, he doesn't have to have it all figured out. He can join others who are part of what pastor Donn Fisher of Calvary Chapel Raynham, Massachusetts is talking about in this episode. There is an include transcript of this podcast interview, which may be helpful to you with your notetaking. Matthew 28:18-20
